Black Rabbit is a premium line of children's clothes that has quickly broadened its popularity through word of mouth and the attention garnered from the unique style that the clothes reflect.

At the heart of Black Rabbit is its designer, Marguerite de Balincourt, who creates and oversees every aspect of the creation of the clothes. Her designs evoke the clean and classic styling of bygone eras only seen in old photographs, but reimagined in inventive mixtures of modern fabrics, patterns and lush colors. It is this unique combination of the old world and the new, derived from de Balincourt's youth split between France and California, that allows the designs to truly standout from the rest. From the original patterns, unique buttons, custom fabrics and gorgeous linings, each piece conveys an amazing attention to detail. They have also been designed specifically to be easily mixed and matched with each other and are made durable enough to be passed down generation to generation. Also important to the spirit of Black Rabbit, all production is done locally in Los Angeles and is absolutely sweatshop free.

Now in its sixth season, Black rabbit has built a loyal and expanding following and is sold through a solid network of unique independent boutiques throughout the world. It has also garnered quite a bit of attention from the press and has been featured in numerous influential magazines in the US, Europe and Asia; including the recent May 2008 cover of Cookie Magazine and a segment on the Today Show.
